About Dan

Dan Sloan is a multi-award-winning filmmaker based in the North West of England.

Working over narrative, music videos and commercials (and the occasional documentary), Dan injects his unique vision into every project he becomes involved with.

His 2021 short “Swallow Your Dreams”, starring Paul McGann and Amy Bailey, was selected for the BIFA-qualifying MANIFF and received press from the BBC and Film Stories magazine. It also received awards for best film, directing, acting and editing.

He recently completed his latest short “Good Behaviour” about memory and guilt set in a prison. It stars Antonio Aakeel (“Slow Horses”, “Eaten By Lions”), Paul McGann (again) and Stephen Walters (“Anne”, “Outlander”).

He is currently developing several features.

Dan is also members of BAFTA Connect and Directors UK.
